I have been teaching here at Sandhills Middle School since 1998. I have taught 1 year of 7th and the rest have been in 8th grade. I graduated from Presbyterian College in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and a minor in History. I currently am certified in Elementary Education, Middle School Social Studies, and Middle School Language Arts.
I have been married for 6 years. My husband is a soccer coach for the Lower Lexington Soccer Club. My daughter, Sarah, was born in March, 2003. My son, Christopher, will be born in late August or early September of this year. I enjoy music, spending time with friends and family, and reading Nora Roberts books. I also enjoy cheering on the USC Gamecocks and watching soccer.
