I have been principal at Sandhills Middle School since July, 2000.  Lexington School District Four has been my home away from home for twelve years.  I live in Gilbert with my husband and two children, Jacob and Savannah.  I grew up in Columbia, SC and moved to Gilbert after I got married.  I attended Winthrop University for my bachelor's degree and have a Master's of Education degree from the University of South Carolina.  I enjoy traveling, reading, and scrapbooking.  My favorite books include mystery, historical fiction, and young adult fiction.  One of my recent favorite young adult books is Touching Spirit Bear, a book about a young man's struggle with himself and others.
