Students will learn the parts of a microscope and how to use it during the scientific inquiry unit.  Then, during the unit on cells, students will view plant and animal cells under the microscope.  During the unit on diseases, students will use microscopes to view microscopic organisms.

Welcome to the Mr. Green’s website. This site is intended to provide information about myself and the classes that I teach.

My 7th grade science classes will cover a variety of topics this year.  These topics include scientific inquiry, cells, genetics, human body systems, diseases, ecology, and chemistry.  The highlight of 7th grade science is when we dissect frogs during the unit on human body systems after Christmas.  It is my goal that I will help increase your child’s ability to  think, act, and write like a scientist.
