Inspiration Science Notes:  When given their science textbooks, the students will be able to use the handheld device to take notes and create an outline of the material.

Outside In:  Students will create a cross-section of the earth’s geologic layers including subduction, magma chambers, fissures, fault and folding lines, vents and volcanic mountains.

Mitosis Magic: Students will use the handheld computers to illustrate the stages of mitosis through Sketchy.

Partial SumsStudents will demonstrate knowledge of the addition strategy known as Partial Sums.

South Carolina Wetlands: Students will identify the characteristics of a wetland and learn how they are identified.

Riddles and Rhymes in Geometry:  Students will practice geometry vocabulary while learning to use Sketchy and will learn to take pictures of geometric shapes using real world objects.

IdiomsStudents will be introduced to idioms and their use in literature .
