Inspiration Science Notes:  When given their science textbooks, the students will be able to use the handheld device to take notes and create an outline of the material.

Outside In:  Students will create a cross-section of the earth’s geologic layers including subduction, magma chambers, fissures, fault and folding lines, vents and volcanic mountains.

Mitosis Magic: Students will use the handheld computers to illustrate the stages of mitosis through Sketchy.

Partial Sums:  Students will demonstrate knowledge of the addition strategy known as Partial Sums.

South Carolina Wetlands: Students will identify the characteristics of a wetland and learn how they are identified.

Riddles and Rhymes in Geometry:  Students will practice geometry vocabulary while learning to use Sketchy and will learn to take pictures of geometric shapes using real world objects.

Idioms:  Students will be introduced to idioms and their use in literature .

Who Are You?  They will make concept maps that will be used to help them describe important facts about the life and works of the poet.
