Our Vision
  •    We believe every student can learn, every student has unique talents and abilities, and student success requires the efforts and high expectations of students, school, family, and community.  We believe every student should have a safe, respectful, nurturing, and technologically advanced learning community.  We further believe every classroom should be engaging, inviting, and stimulating.

No Child Left Behind (NCLB)
  • January 8, 2002, President Bush signed into law the NCLB Act, the massive federal education policy initiative that impacts almost all aspects of public education.


  • The new law poses enormous challenges for SC and other states.  It demands major progress from year to year in raising test scores in reading and math.  The test score gap must be narrowed advantaged and disadvantaged students and between all subgroups of students.
