Substitute Application Process - Revised 10/21/2013

Thank you for your interest in substituting for Lexington School District Four. We are currently taking applications for food service and custodial substitutes. If you are interested in substitute teaching, please refer to the process below.

Keep in mind that substitutes are not considered permanent employees and will report to work on an "as needed basis" only during the school year.

Substitute Teacher Application Process

Lexington School District Four has partnered with Kelly Educational Staffing (KES) for all of our substitute teacher needs. KES will handle all the aspects of our substitute teacher program including hiring, training and scheduling. There are several advantages to this partnership such as the opportunity for substitute teachers to have year-round employment and incentives for substitute teachers in special cases. KES will use our current substitute teacher list and recruit other qualified persons to expand the pool.

If you are interested in applying to be a substitute teacher for Lexington School District Four, please contact the KES office at 803-798-7146.

Launched in 1997, KES partners with 3,000+ public and private schools across 35 states and has a national classroom placement (fill) rate greater than 98 percent. KES has supplied substitute teachers in other SC school districts including having served the Rock Hill School District for over 10 years.
