Lexington School District Four will operate on a two hour delay Wednesday, October 7, 2015.

After speaking with members of Lexington County Emergency Management divisions, the SC Department of Transportation and other state and county agencies, there is consensus that it will likely take weeks for roads to be repaired throughout the midlands area. It is our goal to keep our schools open and begin operating on a normal schedule as quickly as possible without compromising the safety of our students and staff.

Staff and students will report 2 hours later than their normally scheduled time. All major roads in our area are in good condition but there are some dirt roads that are closed, and those that are not closed may not be in good condition. If our buses are not able to travel the dirt roads, they will pick up riders at the closest end of those roads. We will soon be posting a list of roads that our buses will not be traveling on.
